我掉牙了 I lost a tooth

In the evening, my big brother and I sit at the table, and my front tooth is loose.

Then he suddenly cried out, "Oh no, my tooth!"

只见一颗小小的门牙掉在桌上。

A tiny front tooth lay on the table.

弟弟吓得快哭了。

My brother was so frightened he nearly cried.

我告诉他：“这是乳牙，掉了还会长新的。”

I told him, "It's a baby tooth. A new one will grow."

Only then did he smile.

Watching him, I remembered losing my own teeth when I was little, and I felt warm inside.
