上个月，学校举办了一场爱心义卖会，为老人院筹款。

Last month, our school held a charity sale to raise money for an old folks' home.
我和同学一起做了很多饼干，还准备了各种饮料。

My classmates and I baked lots of biscuits and got all kinds of drinks ready.

On the day of the sale, we set up our stall early.

This taught me that with a kind heart and some courage, even primary school pupils can help others.
