放学回家的时候，我在楼下听到“喵喵”的叫声。
fàng xué huí jiā de shí hou wǒ zài lóu xià tīng dào miāo miāo de jiào shēng
On my way home from school, I heard a “miaow, miaow” downstairs.
原来是一只小白猫，它躲在椅子下面，看起来很害怕。
yuán lái shì yì zhī xiǎo bái māo tā duǒ zài yǐ zi xià miàn kàn qǐ lái hěn hài pà
It was a little white kitten hiding under the bench. It looked very scared.
我轻轻地走过去，小猫没有跑开。
wǒ qīng qīng de zǒu guò qù xiǎo māo méi yǒu pǎo kāi
I walked over quietly, and the kitten didn't run away.
我看见它的脖子上有一个铃铛，还有一个小名牌。
wǒ kàn jiàn tā de bó zi shàng yǒu yí gè líng dang hái yǒu yí gè xiǎo míng pái
I saw a bell on its neck, and a little name tag too.

我抱起雪球，坐电梯到了五楼。

I picked Snowball up and took the lift to the fifth floor.
一位阿姨打开门，看见雪球，开心得叫了起来。

An auntie opened the door, saw Snowball, and cried out with joy.
