On Saturday, Mum went out shopping.
我看到客厅很乱，就决定帮妈妈做家务。
wǒ kàn dào kè tīng hěn luàn jiù jué dìng bāng mā ma zuò jiā wù
I saw the living room was very messy, so I decided to help Mum with the housework.
我先扫地，再把衣服折好，放进柜子里。
wǒ xiān sǎo dì zài bǎ yī fu zhé hǎo fàng jìn guì zi lǐ
First I swept the floor, then I folded the clothes and put them in the cupboard.
最后，我还给窗台上的花浇水。
zuì hòu wǒ hái gěi chuāng tái shàng de huā jiāo shuǐ
Last of all, I watered the flowers on the windowsill.
虽然有点累，可是我很开心。

三、会话 Conversation
情景：你的同学说：“家务是大人的事，小孩不用做。”
nǐ de tóng xué shuō jiā wù shì dà rén de shì xiǎo hái bú yòng zuò
Your classmate says: "Housework is for grown-ups. Children don't need to do it."
老师：你同意他的话吗？为什么？
nǐ tóng yì tā de huà ma wèi shén me
Do you agree with him? Why?
范例：我不同意。家是大家的，每个人都应该帮忙。做家务还可以让我们学会照顾自己。
wǒ bù tóng yì jiā shì dà jiā de měi ge rén dōu yīng gāi bāng máng zuò jiā wù hái kě yǐ ràng wǒ men xué huì zhào gù zì jǐ
I don't agree. Home belongs to everyone, so everyone should help. Doing housework also teaches us to look after ourselves.
