We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use this site. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information directly.
We do collect anonymous usage data through the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics β tracks page visits, session duration, and general usage patterns (e.g. which worksheet types are popular). This data is aggregated and anonymous. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
- Google AdSense β our advertising partner. Our site is designed for use by parents, teachers, and homeschoolers β not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Microphone (Chinese conversations, oral practice, math flash cards): a child can tap π€ to say a line, an answer or a number and see what was heard. This is optional and only starts after a parent taps OK. It uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, so the browser's maker (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari) turns the voice into text. We never receive, store or keep any recording or text, and nothing about it leaves the page except through the browser itself. Your OK is remembered in this browser only.
Translating a sentence (ε¬ε): on a flashcard with a whole sentence, Chrome on a computer translates it with its own built-in translator, on the device. Elsewhere you can tap Translate this sentence: only then is that one sentence (just the Chinese text, nothing else) sent through our server to Microsoft Translator, which translates it and does not keep it. We keep a copy of the sentence and its translation only so the same sentence can be answered again without asking Microsoft; we do not record who asked. Nothing is sent unless you tap the button.
4. How We Use Information
Anonymous analytics data is used solely to understand how the site is used and to improve our worksheet generator. We do not sell any data to third parties.

6. Our Android App
The εζε°δΉ¦ε Chinese for Kids app for Android has its own app privacy policy, covering what it keeps on the device, how ε¬ε uses the camera, and its child-safe ads.
