App Privacy Policy

English Practice for Kids (Android) ยท Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how the English Practice for Kids app ("the app"), made by Generate Worksheet (generateworksheet.com, "we"), handles information. The app is for children in Primary 1 to Primary 6 and their families: reading comprehension, a sentence and grammar builder, a spelling test for your own word lists, and an English worksheet maker. Our Chinese app and our maths app have their own policies (Chinese, maths), and the website has its own privacy policy.

In short: there are no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your child's name, email, photos, voice or anything else that identifies them. Settings, practice choices and saved spelling lists stay on the device. Words and passages are read aloud by the device's own voice. The app does not use the camera or the microphone. It shows child-safe, non-personalised ads from Google AdMob.

1. What stays on the device

The app keeps a few things in its own storage on the device, so a child can carry on where they left off. None of it is sent to us or anyone else:

Answers typed during practice are checked inside the app and are not stored or sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android Settings, deletes everything it kept.

2. Printing

When you tap Print, the app hands the worksheet to Android's own print screen. From there you choose a printer or Save as PDF; the worksheet goes only where you send it. We never receive a copy.

3. Reading aloud, camera and microphone

Spelling words and reading passages are read aloud by the device's own text-to-speech engine (for example, Samsung or Google text-to-speech), which works on the device. The app does not use the camera or the microphone and does not record anyone's voice.

4. Advertising

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, which is certified for Google Play's Families program. We set every ad request to be:

A banner appears only on the home screen. A full-screen ad can appear only after a round of practice is finished, at most once every few minutes and never in the first minutes of using the app, never while a child is answering. To deliver ads, count them and prevent fraud, Google may receive limited technical information such as the device's IP address (which gives an approximate location), app and device information and ad interactions. Under child-directed treatment Google does not use this for personalised advertising. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Internet and links

Everything in the app works offline. The app uses the internet only to load ads. Links to pages on generateworksheet.com (such as this one) open in the device's web browser, where the website's own privacy policy applies.

6. No analytics, no selling

The app has no analytics or tracking of its own. We do not sell, rent or share any information about you or your child.

7. Children's privacy

The app is designed for children and follows Google Play's Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's personal information has reached us, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling information differently, we will update this page and its date before the change reaches the app.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy or the app are welcome through our feedback form, or at the developer email address shown on the app's Google Play page.
