73 short everyday conversations for children learning Chinese, from K2 to Primary 6: at school, in the canteen, at home and at tuition. Listen to the whole conversation, then take a part and say it out loud. Every conversation has a practice worksheet you can do online or print.
Each conversation is a short scene from a child's day: ordering food in the canteen, telling the teacher about forgotten homework, talking to Mum about a test. Press 听对话 Listen to hear the whole conversation, with each word highlighted as it is spoken and a different voice pitch for each person, so children can tell who is talking. Tap any word to hear it on its own and see its pinyin and meaning.
Then try 🎭 role-play. Choose a part, and the app says everyone else's lines and stops when it is your child's turn. Your child says the line out loud, taps 🔊 to compare with the model, and moves on. Switch on 🙈 Hide my lines once the conversation feels easy, so your child has to remember what to say. Nothing is recorded: the microphone is never used.
| Level | What the conversations are like | Pinyin |
|---|---|---|
| K2–P1 (ages 5–7) | Short, useful lines a young child really says: 我要……, 不要,谢谢, 我可以……吗? | On |
| P2–P3 (ages 8–9) | Longer turns with reasons and time words: saying sorry, explaining what happened, asking for help. | On |
| P4–P6 (ages 10–12) | Real discussions with 虽然……但是, 只要……就 and common sayings, explained in plain English. | On (one tap to turn off) |
Under each conversation, 练习 Practice asks what your child would say in the same situation, has them fill in key words, guess who said each line, and pick a word they hear. It is marked instantly. Print worksheet gives an A4 sheet with the whole script for reading aloud with a partner, the same questions, a 田字格 grid for the key words and an answer key.
